FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers for patients, healthcare professionals, care organisations and partners using the Umsiti public discovery layer and secure Laravel platform.
For Patients
Where do I browse care options?
Public browsing happens on the WordPress website through Find Care, Medical Centres / Clinics, Healthcare Professionals, Pharmacies, Labs & Diagnostics, Home-Based Care and Services pages.
Where do I log in or register?
Secure login and registration stay in Laravel at https://console.umsiti.co.za/login and https://console.umsiti.co.za/register.
Are my appointments or health records shown publicly?
No. Public pages only show approved public directory information. Appointments, patient records and clinical information remain inside the secure Laravel platform.
For Healthcare Professionals
How can I list my profile?
Use the List Your Practice page to submit a public onboarding enquiry. The Umsiti team reviews provider information before any public listing is approved.
Can I create a secure account?
Yes. The onboarding form includes a category-aware Create secure account link that opens Laravel registration for provider onboarding.
For Medical Centres / Clinics
Where are medical centres managed?
Medical Centres / Clinics remain managed in Laravel as a first-class care-network module and are displayed publicly through approved public APIs.
Can clinics support bookings?
Booking readiness is handled inside Laravel. Public WordPress pages can hand off to secure Laravel workflows where operationally ready.
For Hospitals
How are hospital listings handled?
Hospital listings are treated as public care-network profiles and must not include patient records, clinical notes, lab results or confidential documents.
For Pharmacies, Labs and Home-Based Care
Are these categories supported?
Yes. Pharmacies, Labs & Diagnostics and Home-Based Care each have separate Laravel module support and WordPress public listing pages.
Why might a page show few listings?
Only approved public records appear. Coverage expands as provider profiles are verified and approved.
Practice Readiness
What is Practice Readiness?
Practice Readiness covers setup support, operational templates, booking readiness, compliance preparation and provider onboarding guidance.
Privacy and Clinical Information
What should never be submitted through public forms?
Do not submit patient names, ID numbers, diagnoses, prescriptions, clinical notes, appointment notes, lab results, diagnostic reports, referral documents or private provider documents through public WordPress forms.
Where does secure operational information belong?
Secure patient, provider, booking and clinical workflows belong inside Laravel, not public WordPress pages.
Payments / Pricing
Where can I find pricing information?
Visit the Pricing page for public package and readiness information. Secure billing or operational payment workflows stay in Laravel where applicable.
Technical Support
Who do I contact for help?
Use the Contact page for general public enquiries. Account, dashboard and booking support may require secure Laravel login.
